THE DUMB WAITER by Harold Pinter & LOS VENDIDOS by Luis Valdez

NAU’s Department of Theatre produces Pinter’s classic one act play that employs the ideas of Comedy of Menace which is described as “highlighting the play's use of fear and a sense of unease to create humor.” Two individuals, trapped in a London basement grapple with the power dynamics of our world.

Collaborating with Dra. Evangeline Jiménez, Jaclynn Jutting directs Los Vendidos for the NAU Department of Theatre. Los Vendidos was first staged by El Teatro Campesino in 1967 and explores racial stereotypes in a political world and our ability to transcend them.
